OpaConnect is on a mission to change the definition of HR with an app that connects employees to company strategy and keeps everyone aligned around the same goals. From creating an identity to designing a live product and everything in-between, we worked closely with this tiny startup to introduce OpaConnect to the world.
In collaboration with the OpaConnect co-founders and our development partners, we redesigned a dated product and launched a brand-new, modern experience in five months.
Before diving into the design, we worked out a go-to-market strategy by identity and prioritizing design and dev opportunities. We identified core users, created user stories, and prioritized use cases based on needs and impacts.
With product, dev, and design in alignment, we designed a holistic experience for core users through rapid, iterative design cycles.
The name Opa is inspired by a new take on traditional HR rhetoric—Operational Alignment becomes something for everyone to celebrate. We wanted the Opa brand to feel like a complete departure from any negative or punitive associations people might have about HR.
